Conversions

A Federal conversion kit or component makes a filling system capable of doing something it was not originally designed to do.

Examples of popular Federal conversions include:

• Replacing an annular capping turret for snap-on caps with a Federal GEM direct pick-off capping system for screw caps
• Replacing a Federal GEM direct pick-off capping system with a Zalkin pick and place capping turret for twist-on caps

Federal conversion kits include all the parts, components and assemblies required to complete the conversion.

Conversions can be quoted with or without the labor to install and commission the conversion.

When quoted by Federal, conversions are completed by highly trained and experienced Federal Field Service Technicians. When required, mechanical, electrical and / or controls engineers may also participate in the process.
